(Proper action – Patience – Luck)
Shuichi Amano’s motto, “Don-Kon-Un”, meaning Proper action – Patience – Luck is an expression of his experiences throughout his life.
The period when he was a student at Osaka Higher Technical School was a period of Don or Proper action in his studies. The period when he was a naval engineer and when he started his business was a period of Kon or Patience, and the period that followed was a period when he was blessed with luck and developed his businesses.
