2021/11/30

Date: November 26, 2021

13:30-15:30

Venue: Conference Room, Amano Institute of Technology (Hosoe Town, Kita Ward, Hamamatsu City)

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Amano Institute of Technology, a public interest-incorporated foundation.

The scholarships have been offered to students of technical high schools and the National Institute of Technology, and have been expanded to include scholarships for doctoral students of graduate schools, offering 1.5 million yen per year for three years.

(Greetings from Chairman Kawahata)

The first graduates of the program completed their doctoral studies last year.

As we could not assemble under Covid, we held the “4th Forum” this year using a remote conferencing system.

Graduates from five graduate schools were invited to present their results and participate in a Q&A session.

The results of a wide range of fields were presented, including fluid engineering, catalytic engineering, materials engineering, electronic engineering, and model analysis. There were 14 participants at the venue and 52 participants via Zoom.

The session concluded with an introduction of “Luck, Stolidity, and Perseverance” by the founder Shuichi Amano with words of encouragement to the graduates.

It was a great opportunity for the participants to learn more about the institute and its public service projects.
